Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman. Her current position is that of president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the owner of the National Basketball Association. Buss is the daughter of a California native, and was raised by a wealthy family. Her father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon, who was later the proprietor of the Lakers and other sports businesses. Following the divorce of her parents in 1972 and she started to feel as if she was abandoned. When she was 19 years old, she began working for the family's business as director of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Then she founded in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was director of the Great Western Forum before assuming the role of vice president of the Lakers. Buss and her five sisters inherited his Lakers controlling ownership after the death of Buss' father in 2013. Each of the sisters had the same voice. Her duties were assumed as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles which is an organization that promotes pro wrestling.
