Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude toubia is a Canadian Actress who is best known as a star of the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Television series Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' que te is enamoured. As a dancer and model, Toubia has also achieved success in both fields. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed doing shows. In her early years she began to learn diverse forms of dance. At the age of 15, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous in 2008 when she took part in two seasons of the Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010 she played the receptionist for Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she was in her first movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love. Her performance in the role of Shadowhunter earned her recognition at The Teen Choice Awards in both 2017 and 2018 for the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
